Race 4 completed June 9 at Cecil County
Race 4, the NETO Springnationals, was completed June 9 at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun Md. This was also the 10th annual Mid Atlantic Nostalgia drags and Car Show. The race was co sponsored by Mt. Kisco Chevrolet – Cadillac of Mt. Kisco NY, and Empirical Labs Inc of Lake Hiawatha NJ. Lou Tarascio representing Empirical Labs presented the trophies. Despite some threatening weather forecasts twenty five racers competed in the event.
COMP ELIMINATOR
Reigning Comp champion Lou Laferrara Jr won for the second time in two race this season. Former Comp champion John Giambertone was runner up in his first time out in 2018. Lou wheeled his S&W BBC altered to a 7.602 on a 7.60 index for the win. John was runner up in his SBF powered 1965 Mercury Cyclone running a 9.47 on a 9.40 index to take runner up.

NOSTALGIA ELIMINATOR
Steve Consentino, the reigning Nostalgia champion, continued his winning ways with his second victory this season. Christian Huebner was runner up.
Steve drove his 1963 Dodge wagon, the “Yankee Clipper” to the win running a 10.46 on a 10 .45 dial. Christian took runner up in his 1962 Falcon the “Grocery Getter” on a red lighting 10.97 on a 11.00 dial.
