NETO race 7 completed at Island dragway July 8
It was a beautiful day for a race, yet also a sad one as it was our first race since the passing of NETO president Tony Feil. Forty five racers came to compete in the race which we dedicated to the memory of Tony Feil. The race was sponsored by Select Performance of West Babylon NY. Two of Tony Feil’s three daughters, and their families attended the race and were gracious enough to present the trophies.
Prior to the race, a short tribute to Tony Feil was held. A special commemorative flag was unveiled and a moment of silence was held. The flag will be flown at the NETO tent for the rest of the season.
