NETO King of the Hill completed one day late
The NETO King of the Hill race for a Wally was postponed from August 6 to August 7 because of the track curfew.
The King of the Hill race, run once a season pits the Comp winner against the Nostalgia winner. The prize is a NHRA Wally
On Saturday August 6, Brian English won Comp Eliminator and Jody Kenly won Nostalgia eliminator. Here they are ready to go when the curfew hit.
On Sunday August 7 they lined up once more.
This year running the Nostalgia full tree, Brian English took the win and the Wally,running a 8.76 on a 8.73 dial to Jody Kenly’s breakout 10.08 on a 10.12 dial. Brian broke the two year winning streak of Nostalgia winners becoming the first Comp racer to win the Wally.
